The brilliant headline, “Anarchists to hold planning meeting”, was changed to “Anti-authoritarian group to strategize this weekend for convention protests” after only a few hours.

The strib has been on a downward spiral for some time now, but I still read it online from time to time. This headline nearly made me spit coffee. Seriously, do anarchists hold meetings? Meetings that were planned in advance? And they typed up an agenda and notified the press?
Rule one of anarchy club:

The group had sent out an announcement last week, saying questions had to be submitted by e-mail a week in advance.

So who organizes the anarchists? I bet they run their meetings to the letter of Robert’s rules of order. I’m a little bit sad I didn’t get the memo or invited to the meeting.

I’m leaving town for the duration of the GOP convention. I don’t want to go to jail.

I’ve been successful in keeping the number of animals in our house capped at two. My position is crumbling. Emmy brought her puppy over, Amy has redoubled her lobbying campaign.

Another find from a few years ago. I bought it, even though the spine is shot and I’ve read the book (there’s a few hours I’ll never get back).
It’s silly to buy a copy of a book I’ve already read, but I’m a sucker for the inscription. I wonder if Jim sold it? or was it his heirs?

This makes me want to get a fountain pen. But I’m sure my chicken scratches would only be marred with ink blots.

Check out that X in Xmas. Click through to flickr to zoom in. Lora had some hot penmanship. I bet she was hot too. In her defense I have to point out that In ancient Christian art χ and χρ are abbreviations for Christ’s name. It has the added bonus of pissing of nut-ball religious types too.

I’m refusing to accept books as gifts unless they’re inscribed.

I don’t remember where I bought this. The book itself has no dates on it, just the inscription. The yellowing paper combined with the typeface make this a difficult to read.

The wii is a lot of fun. I never should have hooked it up. I just hope I can pull the needle out when Nicole wants it back. Rayman Raving Rabbids isn’t that great… but it did prove three things:

1. Amy has no rhythm
2. Kevin has rhythm
3. Jessica has no rhythm

Seriously. They couldn’t touch me.

Here is an entirely over sized-video of a chick fight. I couldn’t beat either of them in boxing. My theory is that Amy’s mii is too small to hit.

When I have a rough day, I think of flying to Azerbaijan to work for Eldar.

But Amy vetoed that plan.  She can be unreasonable sometimes.

I’m an investor… he’d have to hire me. I’d insist on my own axe.
